The Turbo combines low power with light handling and blistering top end speed with control. It is an easy choice for a recreational windsurfer looking for a user-friendly performance sail. Based on the Element platform but designed with our homogenous batten concept, we have maintained the test-winning characteristics whilst increasing the wind range, acceleration and top speed. Easy to rig with the forward pulling geometry promoting an upright stance, the Turbo will be the fastest and most comfortable sail you have ever used.
CONSTRUCTION
1) Monofilm construction for a crisper rig response
and a lighter feel
2) X-ply perimeter for durability
3) Aramid Torsion Frame - a Kevlar perimeter for
maximum strength
4) Stabilizer Panel - Designed to hold the 3D
shaping of this critical area, reducing the vertical
stretch of the sail and producing a more stable foil
shape when the sail is under load
5) Dropped Clew - Allows shorter boom lengths to
be used resulting in a more direct feel.
6) Dual Clew Positions - Allows the rider to fine
tune the rig to his requirements
7) Seamless Foot Construction - Pro-tect hidden
seam load patches
DUAL CLEW POSITIONS: Allows the rider to fine tune the rig to his requirements. The higher eyelet assists the rider in hanging off the rig, which is favoured by freestyle riders and many new school wave riders. The lower eyelet position favours shorter riders and allows you to drive more power through the board. In racing rigs, the dual eyelets facilitate different rider heights as well as allowing more control over the leech tension by changing the clew position.

Severne Turbo 8.6
Having used it for the first time, what you first notice is how easy it is to rig. Two cams, what cams? . They pop on from the underside with ease and rotate smoothly in transition. When on the water it doesn't feel like a big clumsy 8.6 rig either, with a light and well balanced feel. To me ,the power delivery felt very much like the Gators , very smooth but with a more locked in feel . Used on a fanatic hawk 120 in less than perfect wind , it felt like it could of coped with alot more wind with ease.
