Windsurfing sails have good protection for your board from the bottom, but no manufactures are yet increasing the foot protection of the sail up to the boom, so ION have the answer, the new ION board protector has two stiff plastic cups and a Velcro strap to secure it to your mast, below the boom in the “boom cut out”
