Have you ever had the feeling at your local lake that you belong at Hookipa?

Forget everything you new about Freeride. The Gator redefines traditional sail design to echo the demand of the UK sailor no matter what the wind conditions. From 8knots on your local lake at Rutland or Carsington, to Waves at Wells or Wittering, the GATOR Delivers!

Design Features:

Gator 4.2 - 5.3

The smaller sail sizes are as happy in the waves as they are blasting on flat water. The sails feel light in the hand, yet power up as fully as other wave sail, but the power is delivered more progressively allowing the sailor to react faster. The sails feature a huge wind range, being able to dump excess power really effectively yet being able to power back up fast but comfortably. These really are wave sails with soft edges.

Gator 5.5 - 6.0

The medium sail sizes are more bias to FREEMOVE. The sail feels more locked in making the board feel secure at speed but can again dump excess power just as well as the smaller sizes. The cross-ply material ( made from Kevlar not polyester) ensures the sail remains tough and durable. The inermediae sailor or lightweight sailor will love the sail for way it feel very dependable and does nothing so fast it catches the rider out.

Gator 6.5 - 7.5

The larger sail sizes feature a lower cut foot, more powerful profile, and the lightest construction of the GATOR range making the sail plane early, feel very stable at speed, yet feel light to hand when not planning. the power still is there but just not delivered as putchy as maybe the Severne NCX. These really are ideal for yor normal leisure sailor wanting plenty of light wind power, but doesn't want to feel hauled forward when a gust hits.
