The S1 is ultra lightweight and manoeuvreable and encompasses the latest technological advances in Severne materials and shaping. With a flatter profile and tighter skin tension, the S1 responds at lightning speed allowing for placement of the rig with absolute precision.
For 2010: The amount of monofilm in the sail has been halved. This has been replaced by twisted spectra and aramid structure of KS Optic Xply increasing the durability and reducing the weight.
E4 has been extended above the top batten to lighten the head of the sail and to bring the swing weight down towards the rider.
The footpanel has adopted the same bombproof HD Dyneema XPly as used in the Blade
