Combining proven board shapes and bold new ideas, Thommen sets a NEW standard in progressive board design. With its excellent longitudinal stability the Thommen Experience 165 windsurfing board is beginner freindly, yet will accompany sailors well beyond the learning and intermediate stages.
Peter Thommend 'Variomatic', an innovative multi concave bottom shape, delivers effortless transition from gliding to planing and guarantees and exceptionally smooth ride in all conditions. The winger/pintail outline reduces tail surface for amazing manourverability and ease of control throught the widest range of conditions. The Experience 165 ingenious tail, rail and bottom shapes eliminates the need for a clumsy daggerboard or centre fin, a low-drag single tail fin of only 35cm is enough for tracking upwind - just gently press the windward rail into the water and up she goes!
