As you know I use Thommen boards in my quiver. I chose them because I find then ride quality of the Cross X, Maui Wave X, and the Wind SUP just superb. The Cross X is a freestylewave with a bit more gusto!- it gets on the plane quickly giving the rider loads of feedback but still feels secure and focused. Gybing is simply fantastic on all the Cross X. Its like its on rails!! The Maui X has a little faster hull shape so in real world (European) sailing locations you have a little more speed to get the bottom turn in with a more solid feel. the SUP I use for light wind freestyle and for cruisin in the sun....
