The Fast X range is the Slalom/ Freeride king. Within a slither of the speed of the renound RS race range, but with thinner rails to make gybing far easier, this is the speed machine for the masses.

All Thommen windsurf and Paddleboards are genuinely better than the rest. They are made in a Semi Custom China Surf board factory NOT the Cobra factory in Thailand where almost all other windsurf boards are production made. This means higher quality, better finish and more strength.

Be exclusive, demand true individual performance. If you are serious about your sailing then Thommen windsurf boards are for you. With personally designed and tested shapes by Peter Thommen (the most respected designer in the world), Thommen windsurf boards really are a cut above the rest. Because they only make a limited number of boards, they are not restricted by the constraints of normal production factories. In turn the board can be designed with only the sailor in mind. You don't need to be an expert sailor or living in Maui to enjoy the true performance of these exclusive boards - all you need is a passion for windsurfing!

The Fast X range are the Freeriders choice who want that extra speed for light wind blasting. Its shape is taken from the RS range of 'Full On' race boards but the rails are thinner and softer to make the handling less extreme. The board holds its speed securely helping the sailor to gain confidence to push their boundries, yet when it comes to turning the corners, the Fast X feels dependable and safe so you get round with extra speed.

I use a Fast X 117 on the BSA racing series. Its excellent as it is as fast as most of the full on racing boards but it is far easier to gybe fully powered up. It means I get round the corners more often which always helps my final position. Highly recommended!
