We can all do with a little help when we start something new, and windsurfing is no exception.

We at Quayside believe everyone who wants to learn should be given a good deal to help them take the fast track way to better and safer sailing.

We can offer the complete package to start you on your way with this wonderful sport. Steve Murfet runs windsurfing courses and understands the needs of the windsurfing beginner. You can take windsurfing 'taster' courses or 1 or 2 day tuition courses. The course will guide you in all aspects of windsurfing including correct rigging, safety, equipment, basic sailing technique, to video tuition allowing the student to see where they are going wrong. These courses are designed for beginners only and all levels above this should speak to the QSW Team directly.

Once you are getting going, Neil and the QSW Team riders are quite happy to offer Quayside customers FREE advice on the water. Their advanced experience will take you to the next level getting you into the straps, carve gybing etc.

We also run Pro sailor clinics withs stars such as Jim Collis (RYA National Instructor assessor), Ant Baker (World PWA sailor) and Dave White (speed clinic guru and windsurf writer) coming down and teaching all techniques to 8-10 customers. These courses are usually 1 or 2 day and cost approx £80 per day and concentrate on techniques such as waterstarting, gybing, footstraps through to forward loops etc. Contact Neil on 07515 553535 if you wish to be included in the next Pro Sailor clinic.
